Today I took Jake and Mark to the Cincinnati Zoo.
The world famous Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is rated the #1 attraction in Cincinnati and one of the top five zoos in the nation by Zagat Survey. It has also been recognized by Child Magazine as one of "The 10 Best Zoos for Kids." Over 1.2 million people visit the Zoo's award-winning exhibits, and more than 500 animal and 3,000 plant species annually.
Jacob liked the gorillas, the rhinos and the bears but I think his favorite today was the giraffe and the Okapi... the Okapi is kin to the giraffe but it has stripes on it's legs like a zebra... http://www.cincyzoo.org/Exhibits/AnimalExhibits/VanishingGiants/okapi/okapi.html
Mark's favorite part was the train ride.
We only went for a couple of hours so we were not able to see everything. But we have a zoo membership so we will see more next time!
